I am Sandro Lopes, a self-taught visual artist and designer from Cape Verde, based in Lyon, France. My work explores identity, memory and cultural heritage through a language that blends abstraction and figuration in a resolutely contemporary expression.
Born in 1996 in Praia, Cape Verde, I have developed my practice across painting, sculpture, urban murals, digital arts, graphic design and fashion. My artistic approach reflects themes of resilience and personal introspection, while engaging with broader social and collective narratives.
