John Onome Wilson (b. 1999), known professionally as Yemiwils, is a self-taught photorealism artist based in Warri, Nigeria. Wilson holds a BSc in Banking and Finance and began pursuing art full-time in 2019 during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Working across pastels, pen, and paint, the artist focuses on charcoal pencil, pastel, and acrylic — CPA — alongside oil paint. These mediums allow Yemiwils to achieve detailed, lifelike representations on paper and canvas.

His style is defined by intricate strokes, delicate shading, and meticulous detail that evoke emotional depth, nostalgia, and identity. Through portraiture, Wilson seeks to awaken overlooked Black histories and stories that resonate beyond the surface.

His works have been exhibited and sold through galleries including Artcore 4.0, Lanzaart Gallery, and Kaleido Gallery.
