Artist Biography

Orevaoghene Ukuowhe (b. 2000)is a mixed media artist from Delta state, Nigeria .Her creative journey began as early as she learned to write. Drawing became a natural form of expression from childhood, and over the years she developed her practice by exploring different artistic mediums. Beginning with pencil and charcoal, she gradually expanded into acrylic and oil painting, continually refining her technique and artistic voice.
Alongside painting, Oreva is an accomplished bead artist, a craft that has become a defining element of her work. She seamlessly combines painting with intricate hand beading, transforming two dimensional canvases into richly textured artworks. From embellishing painted jewelry with real beads to recreating stones, flowers, and natural details through beadwork, she enjoys pushing the boundaries between fine art and contemporary bead artistry.
Inspired by landscapes, feminine beauty, ethereal imagery, and dark romanticism, Oreva creates works that celebrate imagination, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Through her distinctive fusion of painting and bead embroidery, she continues to develop a body of work that is both visually striking and deeply rooted in artistic innovation.
Her artworks are being represented by Moonlight Umbrella art gallery.
