Born on November 4, 1988, in Orsu Local
Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria,
Uchenna Victor Okeke is a compelling voice in
contemporary African art. Deeply rooted in his
Igbo heritage and inspired by Nigeria diverse
cultural landscape, Okeke creative journey
began with formal training at Lagos State
Polytechnic, Ikorodu, where he earned a Higher
National Diploma in Arts and Industrial Design.
This academic foundation has since evolved
into a dynamic artistic practice that bridges
i n d i g e n o u s A f r i c a n e x p r e s s i o n a n d
contemporary global aesthetics.
Okeke is celebrated for his bold, eclectic
style an intricate fusion of traditional
symbolism and modern visual language.
