Faith Udoh is a Contemporary Nigerian painter. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Industrial Arts from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. She works primarily with oil color on linen and occasionally paints with acrylic. Her practice is guided by the relatable nature of memory, time, and emotion, woven into the fabric of everyday life. She believes the elements of memory, time and emotion, transcend language barriers and cultural differences, a personal philosophy that lays the foundation for her practice. Through the use of muted color palette, layered textures, and intimate subjects drawn from real life references; she creates paintings that invite viewers to connect with familiar moments. Her practice is deeply inspired by nostalgia, human experiences, and the relatable rhythms that shape our lives.
